My Rescue dogs

We love dogs of all walks of life and whether they’re a purebred, mix-breed, half-breed or even a half-blood, dogs have distinctively wonderful personalities that never cease to amuse and amaze. However, if you’ve ever rescued an orphaned dog from a shelter or animal rescue organization, you understand that that dog brings a certain richness of experience that other “puppies of privilege” are sometimes unable to bring to the table.

As a proud mom of 2 rescue dogs (one purebred Border Collie (Blue) and one mixed breed pitbull ( Lucky ) I am granted the joy of continually theorizing about where Lucky came from. Lucky was a stray we rescued and was thought to be between 2-3 at the time we found him. Lucky opened my eyes and my heart to the world of Rescue when he showed up on my neighbors doorstep crying and starved. Lucky is the kindest, most gentle boy i have ever had.He breaks every stereotype that Pitbulls have unfortunately been branded by.

Our boy Blue came into our lives when i began fostering for a local rescue,he came to us as a 7 week old puppy with 4 of his litter mates. I was a foster failure for the first time with him! His beautiful face and warm, loving heart won our family over and we decided he was HOME...

I have fostered dogs for over 2 years in my home with my family,I have had dogs all of my life and for me this has become a passion and Rescue is a way of life for me now.. Too many helpless, healthy animals die daily because of lack of space in shelters..As soon as i did the research and found out the facts (as they are overwelming) I knew it would be a personal mission to save as many as i possibly could from the needless euthanization that many face. You too can help and be a part of a positive change by rescuing your new Best friend.
